BUTTER PAPER or PARCHMENT PAPER
It is primarily called a butter paper because it was/is still used for wrapping slab of butter due to it’s aversion to fat and oil by offering a non stick surface to butter. It is a non-sticky cellulose based paper that is predominantly used in baking as a non-stick surface. Also known as bakery paper owing to its smooth, low surface energy, high heat resistant, non sticky and very low water absorption surface .It is an excellent surface for fine drawing (sketch with pencils), protecting art work or printed images etc .
